In the tradition of the Hawaiian kahuna la‘au lapa‘au and Mayan h'men, we offer a serene and transformational experience that can help facilitate a re-connection with your soul, which may have been frightened away by a traumatic fright, grief, sadness, envy or other spiritual illness.

Experience 100 species of Hawaiian healing plants growing in Hi‘iaka's Garden.

Harvest plants for your bath and make prayer bundles with Noni, Kava kava, Mamaki, Lau kahi, Ti, ‘Olena and other healing Hawaiian plants.

Meet the Herbalist!

Barbara Fahs is the owner and creator of Hi‘iaka's Healing Herb Garden near Hilo, Hawaii. She is a certified Master Gardener and holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Design from San Jose State University. Her knowledge of Hawaiian plants is a scholarly and personal one, as she combines traditional herbal practices such as tincturing with Hawaiian techniques, prayer, offerings, and chants for healing both physical and spiritual ailments. Barb has been growing, studying and using medicinal plants since 1972.

Cost: $50 for each one hour treatment.
