All classes are approximately 2 hours and cost $25.00 per person. (Group rates available)

I. Introductory Class: Essentials of Herbalism (Pre-requisite)

Join us for a specially guided tour of the Garden, during which time we will pick herbs for tea, make tea and discuss the properties that are contained in medicinal plants as well as how to make herbal products from them.

II.    Teas, decoctions and poultices: collect plants and make a tea, a decoction and a poultice.

III.    Herbal skin care with liniments, herbal oils and salves: collect plants from the garden and make a liniment, an herbal oil and a salve.

IV.    Syrups for coughs and sore throats, immune strengthening, stomach formulas and more: collect plants from the garden and make an herbal syrup.

V.    Tinctures for whatever ails you: collect plants from the garden and make a tincture.

VI.    Elixirs, Cordials and special treats: collect plants from the garden and make an herbal elixir.

VII.    Herbal Cosmetics: Collect herbs and make an herbal hair rinse, a wrinkle remover, a guava acne mask, a papaya leaf exfoliant, and more!

VIII.    Herb-Drug Equivalencies: Learn which herbs perform the same jobs as over-the-counter and prescription drugs.

IX.    Herb-Drug Interactions: Which herbs should not be taken with specific over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
